Prevent food borne infections:
- Wash your hands thoroughly
- Remove jewellery from hands/wrists
- Keep kitchen work surfaces clean
- Rinse fruit and vegetables before eating
- Throw away food that does not smell right, has fungus on it or is past its use-by date
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods and parathas. Eat dairy products such as cheese and milk in their low fat versions. Nuts, meats, butter, ghee and sauces should be restricted.
